Her first full-length solo (1986) resulted in her being awarded an Australia Council Study Grant to study Butoh dance in Japan. Since then she has created more than 10 solo works, performed in Australia, Japan, France, USA, Portugal, Germany and throughout the UK.

Her most recent work Blue has been presented in several venues including the ROH2 London, The Staatstheater Nuremberg, and The Arnolfini Bristol.
